The words of Swami Vivekananda enforced me to do something for the under privilege children. So, on 14th November 2004, Swami Vivekananda Centre was inaugurated by our most respected mantor Sri Satyanarayan Mundayooji, Trustee and coordinator of Vivekananda Trust, (H.O.B.R.Hills, Karnataka) and currently heading its unit in Arunachal Pradesh Mundayoorji is now the recipient of PADMASHREE AWARDS 2020.
The centre is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian and spiritually oriented mission organization working for all round development of children baring on ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
The centre had established “Swami Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya” on 3rd January 2005 and dedicated to divinity of every child. The school aspires to provide a mile stone by imparting scientific and value based education for holistic enfoldment of Childs personality.
The school is an English Medium co- educational school affiliated with CBSE in 2017, New Delhi. School not only follows CBSE and NCERT, but also special emphasis is given to child centre activities for joyful learning through Art and Craft, Music and Dance, Computer, Yoga and Physical Training to bring about a healthy change in the society and increase sensitization of children and youth through holistic education.
A trustee Body was formed and registered at Dibrugarh Court on 18yh July 2006 with the Regd. No- 429.
To provide govt land for its establishment. I approached Govt. of Assam from the month of January 2006. The Dibrugarh District Land Advisor Committee (LAC) had allotted 6 Bigha of land at Tiloinagar Nepali Gaon (Dag No. 13) under Khowang Mouza, under village Panchayat area vide Regd No 18 dated 28/05/2008 and it was approved by the Dept of Revenue, Dispur. The District Administration had handed over to the school on 26th April 2011.
Its founder staff appeared CBSE final exam in 2018 with 94.5% first rank. The second staff came out with flying colours of 96%. The third staff is appearing this year.
Thus for a humble beginning from virtually nothing except the generous support and encouragement from few esteemed friends and well wishers, we have come far ahead. Everyday we begin with a challenge, yet this implicit faith in us and mission that we have undertaken has made us tom plot on and on inspite of the blind walls that lay ahead of us.
Anyway whatever we are doing is just a grain of sand and with the amount of real and aspirations we can definitely bring about a change.
